About Endeavor
Endeavor Security ("Endeavor") provides a Signature and Early Warning Service. Our focus is on creating a knowledgebase that can be used by multiple vendors to enhance existing infrastructure. Endeavor provides its technology through security product vendors and managed service providers to critical infrastructure including Government agencies, Financials, Telco/ISP, Utilities and Energy companies.Endeavor Security was founded in 2005 and is based in McLean Virginia. Endeavor employees have performed government funded R&D on New Defense Concepts technology since 2003 for the NSA Disruptive Technology Office (DTO), the Intel Community's funding group which sponsors 'High Risk, High Reward' technologies. Endeavor is presently performing Phase II R&D for HSARPA on Bots and Botnets.
Management
Christopher Jordan, CEO
Mr. Jordan is CEO and Founder of Endeavor Security. Additionally,
he performs the role of Principal Investigator for federally funded R&D in
intrusion prevention and malware analysis and has transitioned the research
into commercial products. Prior to that, Mr. Jordan had developed and ran
Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERTs) for several government and commercial
organizations since the 90's.
His skills include managing long-term objectives alongside the chaotic
short-term crisis situations that typically strain resources.
As an original member of the Army CERT Mr. Jordan applied his understanding
of formal security, which he learned early in his career from penetration
testing and system certification, to the in-the-wild attack techniques that
were successful on the Internet. Mr. Jordan's unique background of technical,
crisis management and business operations experience, drives his vision for
security solutions that meet operational need without negatively impacting
the operations.Mr. Jordan is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a BS in Computer Science and also has a Master of Science in Computer Science from George Mason. He has published numerous technical papers and lectures frequently internationally on computer security.
